Towards is pleased to present Bleed Gutter Margin an exhibition of new work by Brian Rideout. Borrowing its title from the language of print production – this body of work expands on Rideout’s examination of visual culture–honing in on the mechanics of presentation. Through various formal strategies, he draws our attention to the underlying structures–the technical, cultural, social, and economic systems enmeshed within the production, circulation, and consumption of these images.
